So I just told him the truth and he understood. I was grounded and my Mom said I couldn't leave even for school. The first few times it happened, he of course threatened to fire me because he wasn't believing my excuses. He knows sometimes I will have to call in last minute and he is fine with that.sometimes. I only had twenty more minutes and then I can close up. It was almost closing time and there hasn't been a single customer in almost half an hour. You would think that just by looking at me that I would not be into this type of music, but I am into such a variety of different genres that I can not just pinpoint what I would consider my favourite. I gave him the middle finger and told him to fuck off as I slammed my locker door shut. He doesn't know my life or the reason why I had to redo the sixth grade. I cringed when he said that. I opened my locker and I just know he is leaning against the one next to it. I could hear Eddie following me but I didn't say a word to him. I pride myself on getting good grades and working with him is almost guaranteed that I will get just a passing mark.Īfter we were dismissed, I went straight to my locker to grab what I needed for the weekend. When I was out of school, Miss Herkimer introduced the class to a new assignment. There was no way I was going to make it on time and Miss Herkimer will surely be angry.īy some miracle, just as the bell rang I sat down in my seat and thankfully she wasn't there yet. I looked at my watch and groaned to myself as I hurried up. I had to stay after class to grab my homework and other assignments that I have missed, which I didn't mind.īut my second to last class and last one were on opposite sides of the building and Mr Hanson, my history teacher kept me much longer than I was expecting. I have been running late for each one because I was out of school due to a family emergency for almost three days. I was racing through the halls trying to get to my last class of the day.
